I care for children from babies to 12 years old and I want to ensure that they are all safe and happy while they are with me and that they can play, learn and develop.



I do a wide range of activities with the children. I get to know what they like  and use this to engage their interest develop skills and build confidence. Typical activities include: 
  • Playing with a wide range of toys 
  • Building and construction games and toys 
  • Painting, drawing, craft and play-dough
  • Puzzles and games 
  • Music and dance
  • Books and trips to the library 
  • Cooking and making
  • Activities on the computer
  • Outdoor play - in the garden, or walks or visits to parks 

I am Ofsted registered and have completed the standard training.
I am an Affiliate member of Pacey (Professional Association for Childcare and Early Years) which means I have agreed to a code of practice and must undertake Continuous Professional Development.

I am part of the Kent Quality Assurance Scheme, and have: 
  • Level 3 NVQ in Children's care, learning and development 
  • Paediatric first aid
  • Introduction to childcare practice 
  • Children's safeguarding training 
I keep up to date with best practice by reading relevant publications and materials, as well as doing research into specific areas and talking to other childcare professionals. I also attend workshops and undertake training regularly.
